Working Culture

Postby Observer » Mon, 07 Feb 2005 2:12 pm

I have been observing the working culture of some Singaporeans from different companies and I've found that most of them, in my experience and own opinion, don't think but just follow. For example if the boss does not like a particular individual or doesn't want to talk to that person then the whole entourage under him will totally ignore that person perhaps in fear that they would be disliked in the same way. Boss seems to be dictatorship here and they want to incur fear in their subordianates, of course this is only in my experience and observation. Same thing happens inside a meeting, if the boss says something incorrect his subordinates will still back him up even he/she knows it is incorrect.

What do you think? Let's hear it.
