Hi,
I understand that different Chinese dialects practice differently, but it seems very common in Singapore for the groom to give the bride's mother a red packet in the morning of the wedding day. The amount varies and I am wondering if anyone knows what the appropriate/norm range is? What about the red packets for helping friends and family members?
