Not quite sure, in any case, how, from half way round the world, anybody can tell whether the phone was slammed down, not, or thrown against the Oval's wall.
I'm sure Trump would be more upset at Obama agreeing the deal in the first place than Turnbull simply saying "Hey, we got an agreement, mate!"
No action can be as bad as taking the wrong action. At least if you make a mistake you can fix it but by doing nothing at all, everything simply gets worse. I seem to be in cliché mode today but there's the old saying "Don't trust anybody that never makes a mistake. If they never make a mistake it simply means they are doing nothing." More often than not, if mistakes are made they can at least be fixed.......I'd only say, keep the guy AWAY from a BIG RED BUTTON hidden in his desk drawer, that's one mistake that, for sure, can never be fixed.
Actually, that's not quite true, Kieth Richards can probably sort something out. He'll be the only one left, smoking a few cockroaches.
'When Lewis Hamilton wins a race he has to thank Vodafone whereas in my day I used to chase the crumpet. I know which era I'd rather race in.'
