I just told her, if possible, to get somebody who knows something to interview me than throw elementary questions, as I learnt about ls like 17 ++ years ago and promptly forgot about the expansion, but know how to leverage it 100%.

As a suggestion for those travelling a US spouse (as a non US Citizen). Have your US spouse carry your mobile/laptop and have her change the passwords on your social media accounts (make them joint). They CANNOT deny a USC entry for refusing to open FB/phones - maybe delay and seize the devices but that would be extreme. Of course assuming your spouse is ok with this.
