Awesome guide, so thank you.. Just one question - let's say I'm a 1st Gen male then I'll be exempted from NS, but I guess have to wait for their letter and then go and apply right?
Yes - I think it's a bit more streamlined though. You shouldn't have to go anywhere now.
Thank you

Just noticed my PR approved via online.
I am still waiting for my letter. May I know how long is the PR IPA letter valid? Some day 1 months and some said 2 months.
Can someone who got the letter recently advise on this?
Thanks a lot

Hi,
I have my PR approved recently but I am currently overseas.
My company HR say it requires them around 1-2 weeks to get the approval for entering Singapore and I still have to serve 14 days SHN at dedicated facilities.
Is there possibility to extend the validity of my PR IPA letter?
Or is there anyone who can advice me on this issue?
Thank you!

You can write to ICA and ask for extension with a valid reason. Where are you put up now?

Thank you for the reply!
I am in indonesia currently.
Can I also check whether I’m able to retrieve e copy of the IPA letter maybe from Singpass or myIca?

I am awaiting approval for myself and dependents (wife + kid), due to personal situation my wife and kids are planning to visit India, while I will stay back here.
Assuming the approval comes while they are in India, can I go ahead for completing my formalities first and ask for extention for my dependents' IPA, and they can come back to complete the process?

It will vary based on the category used for PR application. (ex) PTS, sponsored by SC, SPR ,etc Why are you curious about this?
