Seeking Job - Need advice

Post by DKumar » Sat, 21 Jan 2017 9:30 am

I hope this post finds you well.

I've 10+ years of experience in Supply Chain Customer Service , Forecasting, Demand Planning, Order Management and Logistics Operation from FMCG Company in Dubai, UAE and depth knowledge of
SAP and advance Excel.

I've seen a lot of jobs opening in Singapore related to my skills and experience and I actively applying remotely through LinkedIn, Jobstreet, Indeed, and sg. jobsdb but unfortunately I got no response or reply from recruiters.

My question is do I have to be physically in Singapore with phone number and address? What are my chances getting a job in Singapore with 30days tourist visa?

Any suggestion or advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance. [-o<

being physically present in Singapore will give the same chance as been told a dozen times - higher than applying from India.

Take some and read up on recently implemented measures to reduce rampant import of "talents" ..

Honestly you will have better chance if you apply through consultancies.

Do take note of the year end slow down in recruitment ! Which should continue till around March!

PS, if you apply via job sites, did you see how many others are applying for the same position ?

I may be wrong, but it sounds like a job thousands of Singaporeans/PRs are already qualified to do and that, with the in-depth knowledge of a more local markets.
