Hi There!
I'm new to this forum.
I would like to know if there are any fellow LTVP / DP holders in Singapore looking for a job?

Nope. Not a single one. They are at home looking after their spouses homes as they should be on a DP/LTVP and not stealing local's jobs.
(This is sarcasm).
I not lawyer/teacher/CPA.
You've been arrested? Law Society of Singapore can provide referrals.
You want an International School job? School website or
http://www.ISS.edu
Your rugrat needs a School? Avoid for profit schools
You need Tax advice? Ask a CPA
You ran away without doing NS? Shame on you!

When my wife (on a DP) went looking for a job (while taking care of our children and home) and finally found a job, she was immediately converted to her own EP.
I'm not clear if this constitutes a DP stealing a local's job as strictly speaking she signed the job offer as a DP (therefore stealing) BUT then (almost) immediately converted to an EP. Therefore filling a position left vacant due to an insufficient number of local qualified applicants.

If you're not a citizen and you have a job in Singapore you're a job thief according to the 'true blue' HWZ guys.

Thanks for enlightening. At least now I know where I stand.... I've been agonizing over this for 3 years right up until I got my PR 3 months ago....
Wait, not a citizen, what does that mean for PRs?

PRs are also job thieves, including those who got PR by family ties
If I guess correctly, even new citizens from certain countries too are job thieves

Oh dear, this feels like a lose-lose situation. I certainly don't want to steal anyone's job!
I guess I should go talk to my boss about moving to India and setting up my department there. Although I hear Philippines is nice too.
And as an added bonus, plenty of qualified local applicants.... no more FCF paperwork to document for HR the reason I'm hiring a foreigner is because I had 0 local applicants apply.
