So I have an appointment scheduled at US Embassy for a visit visa in Singapore on Tuesday the 3rd Jan.
My question is that if the visa is approved do they surely return the passport in 3 working days. ? If anyone had a recent experience in getting the visa, kindly tell how fast did you get the visa.
Why do I ask, since I am travelling to London on business on Monday the 9th of Jan and I wary that my passport gets stuck with the embassy? I know its very stupid to make plans at the last moment, but the business meeting came up at the last moment, and a flight from London to New york would save me a lot of time and money rather going from Singapore all the way.
Also if there is some special additional processing required. Would they give my passport back without the visa, because I need to travel?
Thanks for all the help.
PS: I am not from Visa waiver country.
