PR Application Documents Translation
Hi, I am a Malaysian trying to apply for PR first time soon, I saw one of the required documents is birth certificate but however mine is in Malay language. My question is, do I need to translate it and where do I do that?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Usually embassies (in this case, malaysian embassy) offer translations and certifications as well.
Go give them a call.

No translation needed for Malaysia documents or certificate.

Doubt you need to translate it. Cus I submitted my documents for my SPM results (whole cert is in Malay) and it got accepted and later on my PR got approved.
My boyfriend who just recently applied for citizenship with his birth cert in Malay also got accepted by the ICA officer.
Doesn't hurt to be safe though!

Do you think by quoting an anonymous person from an online forum to ICA then no need to translate?

If the ICA say translate then get them translated, whats the problem?
Life is short, paddle harder!!
