Around this time of the year, those aren't crazy prices for Serviced Apartments ..maeva.denoyelle wrote:Yes i did but they have only 1 bedroom for $6000.. crazy

The range of 4500-5000 is on a very cheap side for a Serviced Apartment. A regular condo rental for this size of the apartment not too far from the city centre (as defined by Keppel Bay/Harbourfront city centre distance) is at that range or higher. Regular, I mean, with at least 6 months of lease and without any media/utilities. Normally I would expect the prices to be 6k and higher.maeva.denoyelle wrote:Our family is moving to Singapore on the 8th of January.
While we are waiting for our container ( to be ship and to arrive ) we need to get a serviced appartment.
Idealy we are looking for a 2 bedrooms at around $4500 / $5000 not too far from the city centre. We would like an area near keppel bay or harbourfront.
Do you have any suggestions?
We keep looking but everything seems overpriced or fully booked and we need to book very quickly.

Agreed.x9200 wrote:Just be aware that "tolerated" may not mean neither tolerated or not recorded, but just "with no apparent reaction from the authorities for the current offense".
Good suggestion, but it means that they would have to make a decision on a place much sooner that they will have to live with for at least a year or two.okonu wrote:Just to add - what I did was to lease basic furniture & kitchen equipment for the apartment until shipment arrived. Much cheaper than Serviced Apartment la
