How fast did you get rejected on your PR application

Post by ndlo006 » Tue, 20 Dec 2016 4:30 pm

So I applied on March 1st 2016 for PR.

It is dec 20th 2016, and it is still pending status.

I was wondering when ppl got rejected, how fast did they get a response? I am trying to gauge if its a good thing that after 10 months I'm still waiting. best case scenario is that 2016 quota is filled, and I have a chance at 2017 quota. if this is not the case I would assume they should of rejected me by now.....I'm open to any advise.

my profile
male
Age 33
single
no dependents
Canadian Citizen
Lived in SG since July 2014
my base salary is 11500 + bonus
my birth is Sweden
my ethnicity is Chinese
degree holder
working for an mnc

You forgot your gender. Female will give you a higher chance as you can bear future citizens.
I not lawyer/teacher/CPA.
You've been arrested? Law Society of Singapore can provide referrals.
You want an International School job? School website or http://www.ISS.edu
Your rugrat needs a School? Avoid for profit schools
You need Tax advice? Ask a CPA
You ran away without doing NS? Shame on you!

From July 2014 to 2016 is not very long. Why don't wait for some more time?

I think it depends on different individual's profile. I have a few friends who waited for a year and got approved. Some got rejected just after 3 months.

I got mine after 9 months of waiting. Submitted it in early April 2016 and got approved recently, on 23rd December 2016.

Are you still waiting? Just take it as 'no news is good news'.
