Holy Smoke ...
How the folks on the motorbike survive , especially the Auntie!!
Sadly the perpetrator of the crime is destined for a light sentence as is the way with crimes such as this!!
The drivers son who was with the father in the car , he wants locking away as well!!
Life is short, paddle harder!!

The 34yo auntie? I think they got lucky being hit twice the cars' side sides, at least this how it looks from the drawing.

Thats the one.
Just heard on the radio news from the drivers son who was in car with him.
His father was depressed and has apologised for his actions...
Job done then , no problemo!!
Life is short, paddle harder!!

The ST article says the driver seemed to be angry rather than depressed but I think we have not enough data to jump to any conclusions.

The video show what looked like a half destroyed car still moving toward the motorcycle - am I right in thinking he had already hit someone?? Who died? The driver?

OK I read the article.
This is where I wish the police the right to impose summary capital punishment in 'rash cases causing death'.
After taking witness statements have a mobile magistrate sign a DW on the spot - drag the freak up the road - make him apologise to everyone he has hurt and killed - kneel him down in the middle of the road in public view with his back to a police inspector or higher rank and then shoot him in the back of the head and leave his body there for 24 hours as a warning. 20 cents for the 9mm cartridge and job done.

That's assuming the driver was mentally fit, or drunk or drugged, otherwise, with the information provided I have much more doubts towards his son.
Again, we don't know what actually happened. People don't do normally such things.

And in all of those cases society is better off with him gone in Singapore... anyways the magistrate can do an on the spot analysis and decide if he is mentally fit to stand immediate trial or needs to be cured before trial/execution...
The driver CHOSE to drive in a manner that KILLED another man. An innocent unsuspecting soul going to work. I have no sympathy. An eye for an eye. If the guy is a tard or undiagnozed schizo he can't get treatment here anyways and is better off gone from his families POV.

I thought lorries had another area to queue?
Last post
Yes, if I’m not mistaken lorries are supposed to be an entirely different part of the road, just like those coming in by bus and motorcycle.
