Finally Triopoli will face the competition. I am sure they will change the whole game. Image

If the winner is the other 2 vying for the NESA then that might be the case. And its very unlikely for TPG, in fact they might buy the existing telco operator, not to mention how they acquire AAPT in Australia, and become a giant there.. and bring 88%growth last year.
seems to me they are like Conor Mc Gregor now when they won;
"We're not just here to take part — we're here to take over." Lol.

As long as they can do something about the prices.

All 3 Telco's currently charge more or less the same for everything.

All owned by the same folk , so not really much competition in reality.

They're 3 brands for a single telco at the moment - same ownership and "cooperation" between brands.

I expect, adding another one will change just nothing, at least over any longer time. There are zillions of different overpriced goods and services around practically in any domain. Singaporeans doesn't really know anything else so why a single, new player all the sudden should initiate any revolution? The changes will likely be only incremental. For the service quality, I don't expect any improvements.

Much like fishes in a barrel, consumers here are to the oligopolies.
