I am not a member of any societies right now.
Do I need to join any societies ?
Will it add a very positive feedback?
I am a regular blood donor .So can I add it here ?

^^ +1... highly likely

Hi Barnsley and Jamie9vardy,

Yes indeed.it is one plan of my PR application plan.I just applied for PR but coudn't add any volunteer activities as I didnt have such work for this year.
I noticed that they consider volunteer activities in PR application but i was too late.(Obviously if not they would not ask it in the application.)
So, since this year almost finished I will start now.Incase I fails in my PR I can re-apply another year with good record of volunteer activities.

Im just curious to know..Do you see any wrong doing so? :-k

Oh what a pity mate! You missed the boat. Did you keep those blood donation certificates? Maybe you also want to buy some cookies from the Girl Guides project.
ICA awards 10% weightage for volunteering work and blood donations... NOT!

Whether i get PR or not, its a different thing. I have been doing those work even before i came to SG. (From school days as guided by teachers).Thats for my self satisfaction as a human. Im planning to add it next year since ICA interested in it. Its a bonus if i get points for that

Why does anyone give a frak WHY someone wants to get information on charity work? How does it impact YOUR life and maybe a bit of good that will come out of it?
