Hi ,
I recently got many job offers from IT Recruitment Agencies .But I am not certain how these people will treat their employees after the recruitment.(I am a Network Engineer in profession.)
1.Would they pay me exactly on my scheduled pay day ?
(I heard they delay salary payments sometimes).
2.Would I be able to get a service letter from my Employer (Not Agent) at the end of my Contract ? Or get them fill my PR application section when i apply SG PR this year?
(Since I am not directly under employer payroll they might refuse providing me a Service Letter or Company info like Annual turnover,Letter of Confirmation etc ..)
3.Will this be a bad point for my PR application which I am planning to apply this year ? Im also planning to bring my Family here on Dependent Passes.
4.What are the other disadvantages when i get hired via a Agent ?
All valuable tips/information will be greatly appreciated.

1) If it is a reputable firm, they will
2) Normally in this case managers at the company you are sent to as a contractor will be happy to give you a letter of recommendation, as long as you are good. For PR application, no, because that needs to be filled in by your employer. Which they aren't
3) No impact on PR. Your nationality is likely much more a factor. DP depend on your salary level, not who employs you, so again, no impact
4) It is the normal perm/ contractor issues. You are trading off higher salary of being contractor vs non salary benefits of being perm (pensions/ holidays/ training opportunities/ more job security etc)

Travel agencies in Singapore

Since they're not getting any business during these times, how do they sustain operations? I have heard many F&Bs shutting, but travel agencies still...

Yes, think their margins are low especially if they sell package tours. And I would feel it's quite hard for them to survive this period.
