My husband has been asked to relocate to Singapore with his company. We have never been there and are interested in finding out from other expats what their general thoughts are on the city/ island. Are you happy with your choice to move there?
We have 2 y/o twins and love the outdoors. What would the best areas be to live? (we are used to living in a house with a garden and pool) Will it be difficult to adjust to a
condo with 2 small kids? His package will include housing and schools.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Your questions are quite general, perhaps you could provide a little more detail? Where are you coming from, what are you worried about, why do you love the outdoors...?
Having your own house with a pool and garden is not very cheap in Singapore, although it's certainly possible. How much is your housing budget? Have you tried
this site's own housing search engine?

Yup. This search engine is good for checking market prices of different type of housing in various locations.

We're moving from Florida USA.
The housing budget is S$5000. We are OK with not living in the center of town, but would like to be near one of the
International Schools with a house and garden (if it's affordable). We also would like to be in a kid friendly part of town (maybe with parks/ running tracks etc)
Thanks for any info.
