Reduction in Work Hours - Implication

Post by martincymru » Thu, 01 Dec 2016 8:41 am

Facts: 5 day work week, 45 hrs, salary 10k. EP

Scenario:
Employer/ me agree for 3 day week, 27hrs, salary now 6.5k.

Questions:
What do I need to do?

Employment Laws - implication?

What should I do, best advice?

Since its mutually agreed and above the threshold for Work pass, nothing to fret about.

Just need to notify MOM about change in basic pay.

That's my 2 cents

Unless you have brought over kith & kin on DPs (which I doubt) I would agree with squirrel.

Tried to find something about working on single EP for less than a normal workweek but couldn't turn up anything substantial (Only working a part time job in conjunction with another job that you are already an EP on. (University research positions) There is an old thread on here about that already.
