Did the gathering ever happen?
I can't take it this Dec, so hopefully Jun next year, but would like to prepare from now.
Was thinking to even go to a course at FTC Training Centre, anybody ever took a course there?

I have a number of friends who have studied at FTC and found it really good. Probably worth going down and having a look. CFA exams are really hard so help would be good.

FTC charges 2k plus for their courses; quality is great and is advisable for working people like us who have no time.

For study text - I recommend Stalla - www.stalla.com

I passed the first two levels with it.
