Police Record/Clearance for PR Application

Post by coblos » Fri, 25 Nov 2016 10:09 pm

Hi All,
Me and my wife have a plan to apply for PR.
In the PR application form, page 4, there's a column for "List countries and addresses in which applicant's spouse has resided for one year or more during the last 3 years (till present date)"
https://www.ica.gov.sg/data/resources/d ... AJan15.pdf

I'm an Indonesian citizen, but previously I was working in Australia for 3 years.
Do ICA usually require us to submit police record/clearance from the country which we resided in the past?

Thanks

Not normally, but they could. They would notify you if they want one.

Usually they won't ask for that. But that could be part of their background vetting process, which is opaque.
