In any case the next IT show is around January or Feb

Bro, in Singapore, there is an IT exhibition every 3 months. However, you can always go online and fish for deals. One of my friends just bought a Lenovo from the company website. He had some issues, so they gave him a refund and asked him to place an order for a replacement with a huge discount. They gave him a coupon code which offered between 20 and 35% off.
