Applying PR for my mom

Post by jacqchin » Tue, 18 Oct 2016 12:58 pm

Hi :)

On the document checklist for applying PR for aged parents, there's an indication that the sponsor is to produce the following documents:

Birth Certificate & Citisenship Certificates of Sponsor's sibling, if any
IC and Travel documents of sponsor's sibling, if any
Highest education certificates for sponsors and sibling

Now, my brother is a singaporean but I am then one that's applying PR for my mom. However, he won't be passing me his documents cos he's afraid that I will lose it :(

In any case, have anyone applied without providing the said documents?

Thank you

I have done the applying process. Just want to share the following information.

1) I did not translate my mom's documents(Malaysian) for applying PR and they accepted it.
2) Just need to have photocopies of your siblings details. They do not require the original if you do not have it.

Regards

That's absurd.
I not lawyer/teacher/CPA.
You've been arrested? Law Society of Singapore can provide referrals.
You want an International School job? School website or http://www.ISS.edu
Your rugrat needs a School? Avoid for profit schools
You need Tax advice? Ask a CPA
You ran away without doing NS? Shame on you!
