Singapore Immigration Issue

Post by Anh Giun » Mon, 10 Oct 2016 4:01 pm

Hi all,

Kindly advise what i should to do to solve my problems.
I'm Vietnamese, working in Malaysia. I have overstayed in Malaysia for 4 months during apply work permit/visa (its second time). After 4 months, i got passport with multiple entry visa in hand from my company's HR. Then, I used it go to Vietnam and re-turn to Malaysia for working. Nothing happened.
Last week, i went to Singapore for travelling and got catch at Woodlands checkpoint. They escorted me to immigration office to query. They told me that my passport got a lot of fake chops and i known what company's HR did last time. They gave back passport with chop (IMS/WXXXX/B16-0034567) and bring me back to Malaysia.
Please let me know what does IMS/WXXXX/B16-0034567 it mean? and what i should to do to settle this issue while company's HR run away. :???:

So are you saying you knew there were fake chops?

If ICA put a chop when they sent you back, it means they don't want you back without permission.

What exactly did the ICA guy tell you ?

Actually, i known those chop are fake because i never been Indonesia and 1 time been in Singapore only but my passport have 2 times in Indonesia and 3 times in Singapore. ICA guys asked me 3 times same question "How many time do you go to Singapore in this year?"
My 1st answer is cheating, my 2nd answer is cheating too but my 3rd answer is true after he recommends me should tell him the truth to avoid unwanted consequence.
I said that "i have overstayed in Malaysia for 4 months during apply visa. I dont know what my HR did and how much company paid on that. After i received passport, i go to Vietnam (behind way) and back to Malaysia (official way). Nothing happened. Thats why i thought go Singapore also no problem but i got catch at Woodlands checkpoint."
Then, ICA guy ask me show HR's phone number, how much money i bring, take photo, fingers scan and ask me go temporary silent room for 2 hours. After that, they sent me back to Malaysia and give back pp with chop IMS/WXXXX/B16-0034567.

So, i so worry what should to do now and wonder how long banned on me. Kindly advise!

i think only ICA can answer you... because no one here is an immigration or home affairs officer!

www.ica.gov.sg

another member (mad scientist) from another post said the minimum ban is 1 year, and max of 7 years.

search the forum.

QFP.

Forget about getting into Singapore ever, without prior permission, each time. And expect a NO. Surprising you weren't detained.

Don't bother asking ICA about the meaning of the stamp.

If I read correctly, you have committed serious immigration violation, as the passport is yours, and you know there is fake Singapore stamps.

Taxico, this is a deathly ban.

Quite possibly Malaysia didn't check the reason for U turn. :)

Or the indirect departure methods she has claimed up have undertaken. Knowingly.

I think Its now in Eastern Europe Image

Taxico, when a person gets U turned by Malaysia, Singapore will hold them and ask questions.

When Singapore U turns somebody, from what I have seen, Malaysia immigration doesn't care...

i also dont know how they can allow to me enter Malay
I think ICA guy gives me a chance. Because chop IMS/WXXXX/B16-0034567 stamped last paper. Maybe Malay guys have not openned yet.
2nd case, i saw it but all Malay's chop are true so he allow me enter Malay.
