Taxico may chip in but if the HPV is serious (i.e. you have cellular changes on your cervix which may be pre-cancerous) they may recommend a hysterectomy.... hopefully not. I can't be bothered checking which are the nasty HPV variants - there's a few though that you MUST watch out for as I have lost a few friends to cervical cancer in a matter of months. Do not delay and don't take a short cut - if the doctor wants to remove your cervix do it. I am not a doctor and this not medical advice.
