HPV and uterine neck dysplasia

Please help!! Has anyone been diagnosed with HPV virus 16, 18,22 with unerine neck dysplasia 1 stage? My friend has it she is considiring to come to Singapore for treatment and wonders what do doctors usually do here with this conditions, what kind of treatment line they take. Can you share your experience? Thank you in advance!!

Taxico may chip in but if the HPV is serious (i.e. you have cellular changes on your cervix which may be pre-cancerous) they may recommend a hysterectomy.... hopefully not. I can't be bothered checking which are the nasty HPV variants - there's a few though that you MUST watch out for as I have lost a few friends to cervical cancer in a matter of months. Do not delay and don't take a short cut - if the doctor wants to remove your cervix do it. I am not a doctor and this not medical advice.

Shit - 16 and 18 are indicated in over 70% of cancer. Get treatment NOW. I lost friend Michelle in 3 months to HPV. People worry about AIDS but HPV kills a boat load of women every week .

no comment here because there's not enough to go on. you should get it checked out by an OBGYN and listen to his/her opinion - they'll need to go through your reports (and possibly re-do them again).

you'll need another check-up soon (and regularly) anyway... (it's not a death sentence... not yet anyway)
