Australia Visa

Post by midlet2013 » Tue, 27 Sep 2016 1:33 am

Hi

How long does it take to get Aus Visa. My purpose is to attend a recruitment meeting and interview organised by a Silicon valley firm, most likely in Sydney .

I am an Indian and a PR. My wife also wants to go and she is Filipino and PR.

The interview is on Oct 15-16.

Thanks
S

3-5 working days assuming this is a Class 600 visa ( business )
To get there early is on time and showing up on time is late

I have an Indian Passport and my wife has Phillines PP. We are both PR.

My wife would need Tourist Visa. Does that take longer than the Business Visa ?

As an Indian, you have a more complicated process to get a visa to Australia, including AUD 135 to AUD 340 depending upon the visa.

nah same time!! don't worry, 3-5 days is all it takes, head to VFS in the city, they will take care of it, you can do a walk in and submit the docs, they'll take your pics, and fingerprints for biometric ID'ing..

Enjoy Australia. You'll be able to speak the same language as the taxi drivers ;)
I not lawyer/teacher/CPA.
You've been arrested? Law Society of Singapore can provide referrals.
You want an International School job? School website or http://www.ISS.edu
Your rugrat needs a School? Avoid for profit schools
You need Tax advice? Ask a CPA
You ran away without doing NS? Shame on you!
