EP Change of Residential Address
Hi Forumer,
Just got to realise from MOM website that residential address has to be updated within 2 weeks of changing your home address, otherwise could be penalised.
Now I have moved to another place for more than 2 weeks. Should I update with MOM or just ignore it until pass renewal ?
How does MOM verify the effective date of address changing ?
Anyone come across with such experience ?

Its not enforced but if anything else goes wrong, that can and will be used against you. And trust me, they can dig it up if and when they want, from bank statement to other letters.foodforthought wrote:Hi Forumer,

I know some HRs of late have seen getting letters from MOM about address updates.
Better get your employer to update it ASAP.

I've changed addresses 2x in the past 33 years. I don't find it a problem at all.

Maybe the OP has some secrets about his address, that he don't want MOM to know ?Hidy Ho wrote:It's all done online .. jeez (not at you, SE) .. it's one of the easiest thing to get done here.Strong Eagle wrote:You want all your mail to go to your old address, izzit?vvianho wrote:Is anybody sick and tired of changing their mailing address evrytime they move?...
Re: EP Change of Residential Address
Easy to assume one update changes everything but, if you have a vehicle you can't do it online, have to complete a form (which you find online) and then send it in.
