Hello All,
I am Mechanical Engineer specialized in Energy, Sustainability & Project Management. Currently i am working in dubai and planning to relocate to Singapore. I have total of 7 years of experience, 3 years in Dubai & 4 years in India.
Also I am a Certified Energy Manager From Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) and LEED professional from US green building council.
I am not that familiar with the Singapore job market and looking for inputs from maker experts who are working in similar industry or as in general.
Do i need any specific mandatory criteria to be met to apply for a job position or to apply for Work permit. Appreciate all your inputs.
I tried the eligibility test in MOM website & its showing i am eligible to apply for permits.
Thanks in advance.

Employment Passes are applied by the employers and not by employees. I am not sure on how you tried the SAT tool (Employment pass eligibility tool) as that would need the salary of the job also to be entered.
Anyway, the current job market is slightly slow here in SG. Also, connect with few mechanical engineers here and understand from them on the nature and scope of work here before you make any major decision. Good Luck

Hi, Thank you for your response.
In Employment pass eligibility tool, i used the "individual" assessment option not the "HR / Company Option" .
Regarding the salary range, I did some research about the average pay-scale for similar field and came up with a number. The same which i used to generate the eligibility results.
