FnB, Chinese chef ? ;) logically high chance. But with your nationality you still have an edge over most.

Don't think bad
Actually I am holding manager post in this line. I am Malaysian too. But I just curious wether the age effected my application. Now it is not easy to get a local/SPR to work in F&B service line.

Theoretically speaking, get married and have a kid, to increase the chance. Ok, that was in jest.

As I said, as a My Chinese, you hold an edge over non MY non Chinese applicants, going by experience.

Just apply again, once you get a pay rise.

Thanks ecureilx for your advice. Definitely will go for my third charm. Do all seniors mind to re-assess my qualification again?

Nationality: Malaysian Chinese
Gender: Female
Age: 32 y.o
Nature of working: F&B- ASSISTANT MANAGER for 6 years.

1. Been applied PR (1st attempt) before company retrenched, but rejected after 4 months at April 2015. (Oct 2014)
2. 2nd attempt applied PR with my new joined company, again rejected 4 months after April 2016. (Jan 2016)
3. Paid Tax for 2014 but not 2015 (not sure the reason been refunded or might be due to company retrenched) and 2016 tax paid.
4. This year been nominated for Excellence Service Awards (EXSA) which I see a little hope from there.

Hope can heard all your advices. Much appreciate and thanks.

Positive side - as noted, M'sian Chinese. Young Female.

Negative side - F & B (I don't know how much traction you will get out of "Assistant" Manager - little I would think (Full Mgr better). Excellent Service Awards would be a help but again, how much in today's environment is another question.

Positive side - Persistence.

Educational level - unknown - This may be a negative factor

As Work Permit not eligible for PR maybe they want3 yrs of you being on a "better" pass before they will consider.

Who knows.

Like I say , keep on applying when you think your circumstances have changed enough to warrant a new application. :D
