Hello all,
I'm from India, currently working in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia with a monthly salary of 8K RM per month. my spouse and 1 year old kid are here with dependent pass. I would like to migrate to Singapore with an employment pass or S Pass. Can i live happily with a monthly salary of 5k SGD per month? Please let me know your opinions.
Thanks,

20,000 per month or 5,000 per month, depends on your definition of "happy"

In my case my expenses is about 4.4k on an avg, with spouse and daughter. I would say 5k is tight.
With 7k you can have a decent life and also save around 2.5k on average.

I'm sure that with if you are good in your budgeting, 3 of you can live with that. But, nothing much would be left to Save.

I really need to sort out travel insurance, primarily for the emergency medical insurance (repatriation and liability would be good too)...
