Hello! Not for me this one, but I'm just wondering if you've already passed the white immigration card to your new employer for your EP to be processed, how do you leave the country? Can you ask for the card back or is it wise just to stay put?

You mean IPA received ?
Just tell the ICA officer as such with new card.
Otherwise why your employer needs the white card ?

Sorry! I mean it's currently pending. He's handed in the white card to his new employer so I'm not sure if you're supposed to be doing much movement while it's pending?

Why did he give the card ? Unless he got an ipa, I see no reason to give to the employer. If you mean by applied for a pass.
Its a minor immigration offence to lose the DE card.

Why was the White immigration card (given for a person on SVP) handed over to the employer? Only while issuing the EP, the employer would require the DE Card number.

Really not sure, I guess they just anticipated it being approved soon and him not wanting to go anywhere. Guess a holiday is off the cards for now!

Usually Employers ask for it for visually seeing the DE Card Number while the EP is being
issued.
