Bad Singtel Support

Post by charlesp » Tue, 13 Sep 2016 12:18 pm

I was booking for the new iPhone 7 today under their Prestige Plan. I happily got a queue number of 10931, however when the number got stuck for 40 minutes on the same currently serving number I called up the customer service.

They told me that I should open a new browser to login. When I did that my queue number went to 14494, basically 10 times longer I had to wait. They then said that my number will be placed on a special priority queue and that it is tied to my IC.

After 3 hours had passed my original number had passed and I am still waiting.

I don't use SingTel for that and a number of other reasons.

Associating Singtel with good customer service ? Oh no

Unless you are corporate, even a consumer clocking 1,000 $ or more a month will get treated like xxxx

According to your own words above, nobody promised you to do it faster, but only to place you on a special priority queue. BTW, have you noticed that for the number 14494 you can get 8 at least 3 times? 4+4, 9-1, 4x2 (there are 2 fours so you can multiply 2 by the remaining 3rd 4). 8 is the luckies No in Chinese culture so you should be more appreciative for what Singtel does for you.
