Working Holiday Pass - when does the 6 months period start?

Hi all,

Does anyone know when the 6 months period of the WHP start? When I get the in-principle approval (IPA) or when the pass is actually issued (I can do that within 3 months after I’ve received the IPA)?

Thank you very much for the answer. Unfortunately many information about the WHP on the MOM websiste are not very clear.
