Relocation from Germany to Singapore Good Idea ?!!!??

Hi All
Hows the job market for VC++/C++ programmers , software developers in Singapore.I live in germany now but am an indian citizen,I am tired of living here and heard that singapore has a good standard of living and asian food which i really miss here in germany. So i am planning to shift to singapore for good. Please give me suggestions in this regard.
I am applying for software positions through job websites.I had compeleted my elctronics engineering in chennai Madras Uni. and then came to germany for studies and did masters in Information and communication systems from Technical University Hamburg Harburg.
Please give me suggestions and advise in this regards

Hello, I think you have similar situation with me. I am currently working for a multi-national company in Bochum, Germany. Next month, I am moving to Singapore (also) as software engineer.

From my humble opinion, the living standard is better in Germany. You won't get the same salary in Singapore (may be around 50% less). You pay less tax in Singapore, but the insurance and pension scheme is not really good in Singapore.
