Raffles Town Place Reviews?

Hi Everbody,

We are an American family who just moved here a few weeks ago. We are considering a place (not a condo) very close to the Raffles Town Club. Facilities look nice. From their site, it looks like they're no longer selling individual memberships but you can buy them on the open market. Anyone have any information to share -- what the nationality breakdown might look like, does the pool get crowded, how's the food and services, etc.

Am not a member, but have friends that are.
Facilities seem nice.
The gym looks pretty good - maybe a little too spacious.
Dining was quite nice - Hungrygowhere has a good rating for The Dining Room.
Have seen the pool on Sundays - not too many people; definitely not crowded.
Prices for transfer memberships might be lower since there were some legal issues a few years back.

Suggest you check reviews online (i.e. Google "Raffles Town Club reviews").
