I am planning to go for a family vacation during this year end school holiday but I do not want the normal trip. Any good suggestion to have an unforgettable unique vacation experience for my family?

Go and engage yourself as a family for volunteering in Vietnam, Philippines, Cambodia or Sri Lanka!

Thanks for your kind suggestion. I'm sure this will be a very unique experience for my family. But I doubt my wife will be keen on it though...

Burma, but my experience is close to 10yo and a lot have changed in the meantime.
Other than this, any trip involving airfrance is from my experience with rather high chance of not being normal, but for the same reason it is also difficult to call it unique.

Trekking in Nepal or Bhutan? Sailing a yatch (chartered)? Building a house for Habitat? Walking a pilgrimage? Learning a new language as a family in an immersion course? Joining a commune?
I not lawyer/teacher/CPA.
You've been arrested? Law Society of Singapore can provide referrals.
You want an International School job? School website or
http://www.ISS.edu
Your rugrat needs a School? Avoid for profit schools
You need Tax advice? Ask a CPA
You ran away without doing NS? Shame on you!

Thanks PNGMK for your kind suggestions!
After discussed with my wife, we think sailing a chartered yacht seems to be a great idea!
But any good and trusted yacht rental company to recommend?

Japan is always amazing!
Plus they have Disneyland in tokyo.
It's really safe as well and public transport is top notch!

Finnair has a SGD999 return deal to Iceland (and you can stopover in Helsinki).
Oh better book quick - it's now 1012.

With kids you should give cruises a try. It's the best way to visit a number of different places without constantly having to pack and move, as your hotel on water moves while you eat, drink, and sleep.
The buffets will keep the kids happy food-wise, and the kids club on the ship will keep them occupied and loving every moment of this holiday, leaving the parents with some decent free time for themselves. Win-win situation for all.
