The haze may return

The peatlands on fire again...Indonesia's weather agency has warned that the haze may return

It will be the 34th year in a row that I'm aware of. Nothing new.

Actually, the haze was never gone. Now all year around it is here if the wind blows from Indonesia. It's not that bad of course as it could be, but you can bet the wind direction right now, just looking at the sky.

It was above 70 + a few days ago.

Yep. Most people don't even notice it with lower levels.

I had a much better view of the haze from 19842 to 1994 as I worked in Indonesia and offshore as well. lots of fun when the workboat you are diving from is totally becalmed on Lake SCS (like a sheet of glass and the sky is solid grey and the sea is the same and you can see for a fair distance but you can see the sun glow but not the actual shape of the sun nor the horizon.

I was wondering why my 3m air con filter was turning black within a week instead of 2 months ... this started three weeks ago ...
