As an aside, the SAT online only tell you if you are eligible to apply for a pass. It does NOT indicate that it will be approved or not. So all you can do is wait. How long? Anybody's guess at this point as EP/S and PR applications see be be held up since April/May.

They are not telling companies to terminate those employees but upon renewals they have been finding ways do tweak criteria so that people, even though they pass the SAT, will still find themselves on the short end of the stick. It's not personal, it the fact the the government knows that if they don't reduce foreigners they will know about it big time at the ballot box at the next GE. They are walking a fine line between reducing staff and keeping GDP up (which they aren't any more). If they stall long enough, you pass expires and the new employer has found somebody else and withdraws the offer. And you? You have no recourse at all. That's about the way it's starting to look. Read some of the thread here and see how long they have been waiting. You are not alone.
Because, rightly or wrongly the government is operating under the assumption that local talent is at least as qualified as foreign talent, and they are committed to squeezing foreign talent out of the work force.ayemgeorgia wrote:Why do you say that they are finding ways to reject my EP Approval?
