Rewire whole house (resale)

Hi everyone,

I am curious about the price range for rewiring the whole 3 room flat. I'm talking about all the basic socket points and replace of DB box. I'm buying a resale flat that's 40 years old and the condition of all the wires are very old and bad. So I wanna remove the existing wires, db box, switch and etc to replace with the new one. Anyone familiar with this?

Is your existing wiring in the wall or on the wall covered with wire covers that are affixed to the wall?

It is fixed to the wall but some are covered some are not.

This is a fairly common thing. Any contractor or renovator should have a PUB licensed electrical contractor available who can quote this. Make sure the contractor is PUB licenced and registered with HDB.
