Travelling to Singapore

Post by Phil413 » Fri, 05 Aug 2016 10:54 am

Hi! I went to Singapore last June, with social visit pass then went to Johor on my day 5. So technically, my SVP would reset to 30 days again. I tried to look for work unluckily my 30 days expired so I have to go back to Philippines. I flew back to PHL last July30. But I'm planning to go back again to SG this Aug11. Will I be questionned by IO? Or will I be put to hold? Hope you can help me. Thank you.

Depends a lot on - if you are able to A) jump past BI, and B) you are a male or female !!

I would delay a bit and come, instead of returning so soon.

Hi ecureilx, I'll go to HK first this Aug9. Then fly to SG after 2 days. I'm female by the way.

Good luck. I may bet 2$ ICA will refuse entry based on your travel hop !! 90% I am sure. But you have 10% chance.

Again, good luck

When can I probably go back to SG again?

If you stay in Philippines for a month or so and travel here directly, you will raise less suspicion. Knowing how ICA monitors travel, it's hard to tell.

But going to Hk and coming here will look very odd unless you have valid reason like business purpose etc.

Better if you can get a local invite.

I have been travel hopping ever since, like going to bali-sg or bkk-cambodia-kl. Well I have a friend who works there (both on SPASS), they'll be picking me up from airport. Will that be okay?

I can't say anything! You need to pass immigration to be picked up :) that's the key.
