Prenatal check up costs

Post by leilei » Fri, 29 Jul 2016 1:27 pm

Hi there,
I will be moving to Singapore in a few months and would like to start trying for baby number 2 soon. However from my research, most insurance companies have a minimum 12 months waiting period for maternity cover. I am thinking of having my baby back in Australia, but would need to get the prenatal check ups during my first and second trimester in Singapore. Has anyone experienced something to this situation and would know approximately how much it would cost for checks up and scans? Thank you!

KK hospital and Thomson Medical center have estimated costs for pre natal check up costs listed in their website.

Do take a look.

Prudential insurance had a maternity insurance but I too doubt they will cover check ups.
