Hi,
I'm trying to find out more about the new Malaysian Vehicle Registration Permit that Sg cars need to have now. I am driving a rental car and would like to head into Johor for a day. However, the JPJ VEP website does not account for such a scenario (as I am not owner and do not have access to details such as insurer etc). Does anyone know if I can just drive up to Tuas or the causeway to get the VEP? Has the VEP been fully implemented? Thanks for any help...

not fully implemented yet.
your car rental guy will (have to) take care of registration for you as he/they own the car, not you.
