Renewal of Re-entry Permit

Hi All,

My wife and I both are SPR, coming june 2017 will be our first time renewing REP. I don't quite remember if I applied under specific PTS scheme, but I'm in that category and at that time I applied together with my wife. Both of us are holding EP prior to our SPR application.

Now my wife wishes to stop working next month for maybe 1 year. Would her REP chances be impacted if she doesn't hold a job in June 2017 ?

I would still be working, and we own a hdb flat together and we would still be staying here.

I don't think it will be an issue provided you are financial enough to provide for your family.

Hi PNGMK, I presume they do not require any submission of documents when I use the online renewal, so they can only check thru IRAS / CPF based on contributions ?
