Sending Philipino FDW to Australia to visit my mother?

Post by PNGMK » Thu, 07 Jul 2016 3:36 pm

My lovely helper and my mother get along extremely well. My mother would like M to visit her in Perth. I guess I need a visa... anyone have any previous experience in getting a visa for an FDW going to Oz? No, she won't be working - she'll be on her annual leave.
I not lawyer/teacher/CPA.
You've been arrested? Law Society of Singapore can provide referrals.
You want an International School job? School website or http://www.ISS.edu
Your rugrat needs a School? Avoid for profit schools
You need Tax advice? Ask a CPA
You ran away without doing NS? Shame on you!

Convincing the OZ High Commission that her stay will be temporary is the key.

Of late, the OZ High Comm is a bit relaxed.

Know a few who took their helper to Au and elsewhere.

It would work, just ask the HC for all supporting documents needed.

Philippine passport holders should be able to apply online for a Visitor Visa (subclass 600) to Australia.
