+2. SMS's point about Singapore for Singaporean's is very very important to comprehend. In addition it may interest you to know that LKY (may God accept his unrepentant soul) supported the local Malays. Not many years before his death in partliament he chastised a younger MP (Chinese) who requested the parliament acknowledge 'all Singaporeans as equal'; he reminded the young whipper snapper that the Singapore constitution has specific protections in place for the 'native Malays' and it was not going to change. So LKY's issue is not with a race, or perhaps even a specific religion but with a nationalistic neighbor who used religion and politics to stir up trouble with LKY's own countrymen.ecureilx wrote:+1sundaymorningstaple wrote: Singapore is a meritocracy only between Singaporeans, NOT with foreign talent. That is why FT has to be twice as good to get a job here than the local needs. And even then if you are a regional "talent" you will get paid less than the local will for the same position. So go put some more of the whacky tobaccy or Kretek in your pipe and fire that sucker up as you need to dwell on your misconceptions about the relationship between the two countries.
Go to hell you piece of soiled shit stained toilet paper. The politicians reflect the will of the people you half wit.dynamic.dante wrote:If anything, blame those half witted politicians.
I haven't heard anything they do so far makes our life here in Singapore any easier, especially those who seek jobs, permanent residence and citizenships.
