So go put some more of the whacky tobaccy or Kretek in your pipe and fire that sucker up as you need to dwell on your misconceptions about the relationship between the two countries.
+1
+2. SMS's point about Singapore for Singaporean's is very very important to comprehend. In addition it may interest you to know that LKY (may God accept his unrepentant soul) supported the local Malays. Not many years before his death in partliament he chastised a younger MP (Chinese) who requested the parliament acknowledge 'all Singaporeans as equal'; he reminded the young whipper snapper that the Singapore constitution has specific protections in place for the 'native Malays' and it was not going to change. So LKY's issue is not with a race, or perhaps even a specific religion but with a nationalistic neighbor who used religion and politics to stir up trouble with LKY's own countrymen.

Indeed, it was UMNO who cranked up the race riots in Kuala Lumpur in 1969... riots which ultimately spread to Singapore with large loss of Chinese life.

Hi guys, thank you for your reply. Yes, I do realise the PR application should be made when the applicant before reaching 21 years old. However, regarding this case, my area MP wrote the appeal letter to ICA stating that I am willingly to serve NS in regard of my PR application is approved. And, I am sad to hear that Singapore doesn't welcome so much for Indonesians. Feeling sad to hear about that.

If anything, blame those half witted indonesian politicians.
I haven't heard anything they do so far makes our life here in Singapore any easier, especially those who seek jobs, permanent residence and citizenships.

*updated to reflect context :p

Frankly speaking as the father of two SC I don't want people like you here. Just bugger off; Singapore's full.

Don't really get whats your problem.

You came from Indon?

Because it doesn't look like you do, nor you're affected directly or indirectly from words and policies cooked up by crooks in Indon, unlike us.

Not all of us are economic migrants like everyone else, some of us just wanted to make sure that when we pay our taxes and whatnot, it goes to building the country and not f***** sponsor politicians for their trip to stay at Ritz Carlton in Manhattan for at least few weeks in pretext of political trips.

Mister father-of-two-SC .... How does that actually represent the will of the people?
