Serviced apartment recommendations

Post by Zeba » Tue, 21 Jun 2016 11:43 pm

Hi Everyone
We are looking for a 3 bed Serviced Apartment (or a 2 bed apartment with a helper's room) for a month (approx end-July to end-Aug) while we house-hunt and wait for our shipment to arrive. We are a family of 2 adults and a 3 year old, moving with a nanny. Somewhere close to Harbourfront would be good, but we are flexible on the location as long as the commute to Harbourfront is a reasonably easy one. Could anyone please recommend a suitable mid-range place on a weekly/monthly rent? Inclusive of breakfast would be great, but if not, that would be okay too.
Many thanks!

From the tabs at the top of the page http://www.singaporeexpats.com/singapor ... tments.htm There seem to several there that might fit your bill.

You can also look up https://www.tripadvisor.com/VacationRen ... ntals.html which x-refs vs a pin-map.

The big question is the budget, as 'mid-range' is subjective.

JRB: Many thanks. Not only did I find several options for Short Term Accommodation, I also found a bunch of properties that I would be interested in exploring with a more long term lease in mind. Links saved.

We stayed at Fraser Residences (behind Paragon) when we first arrived. It was a really good place to stay. The apartments were Ok sized - nothing huge. Mostly it was in a great location and there was a patio area with all the facilities in one location (pool, playground, outdoor lounge area, cafe/breakfast room, gym, BBQ). Previously I've stayed in places where everything is spread out. At Fraser, I could sit on an outdoor sofa and watch my kids swim and play, and there was a coffee machine and snacks in the cafe right behind the sofa. I can't comment on how expensive it was, as the company very kindly footed the bill.
