I'm interested in bringing a maid from Philippines to Singapore. Is it possible to do the process by myself? What would I need to do to ensure she can enter and get a DWP for her?

This was discussed. Doable and possible ...

If the girl has been to Singapore before it would be easier.

If not she's gonna run the Gauntlet called BI, successes there are half half.

Back to the subject, OP, do read this:

Especially this link : https://getbrainy.wordpress.com/2011/06 ... singapore/

The caveat is, if you don't follow every step explained there, the maid may be stopped on departure and accused of being a victim of human trafficking, and given an option of a) get herself marked as 'denied permission to leave', or b) allowed to engage a 'reputable' agency, who, in due consideration of a few months of pay, will smoothen and fast track everything. And when you engage an agency, a slot for the OWWA seminar etc opens up quickly, vs waiting for weeks and weeks for a regular slot.

I do know a couple of agency friends here, but they are not looking at PH market of late. If you are keen to get the bare essential work done through them, I can ask what's their charges - nett charges.

It would be great to know their charge. The article is very useful, thank you!!

One of my existing maids she is 60 years old and it's over the age limit published on MOM, is there any way around that? She's never been granted a FDW in Singapore.

Few things such as her past TESDA and all may influence the costs involved.
