Taco Bell Locations in Singapore

Post by HaveACraving » Mon, 31 Jan 2005 2:52 pm

So I have this urge for Taco Bell. Does anyone know where there is one other than the one in the movie theatre at the corner of Scott & Orchard?

Thanks in advance.

Thers a Taco Bells in Funan the IT Mall - I think its a three in one take away joint with KFC and Pizza Hut...

There used to be several Taco Bell outlets all around Singapore a few years back - I remember there being outlets at Funan and Causeway Point. To the best of my knowledge, these outlets have now been taken over by KFC and franchised such that the entire menu has been raped beyond recognition. No more burritos. No more Fries Supreme or Cinnamon Twists. And worst of all, all the beef has been replaced with some kind of dry, sinewy tasteless chicken. In certain items whose recipes are tailored for and demand the trademark Taco Bell beef, like the Taco Supreme for one, the change renders your favourite snack virtually unrecognisable and worse, a complete insult to the palate - at least to my tastebuds. The result being that I have not patronised any one of these so-called Taco Bell outlets for a little over the year, something which is not likely to change anytime in the future.

 Sad I know, but what is one to do?

not the same :(

The Taco Bell food here just doesn't taste the same as in the US. And, I don't think you can get beef tacos either! Bummer, man.

I've only ever seen on at Funan and, sadly, it wasn't the same (which is strange, since the sauces and stuff are all chemicals anyway). But what was weird is that they seemed to be an Asian hybrid (flavor-wise) of the standard menu options.
