Got married after applying Singapore citizenship online

Post by Ivy Pham » Thu, 16 Jun 2016 5:37 pm

Any body in this case before?

I applied Singapore citizenship online but forgot to get e-appointment until waiting too long, then I book an e-appointment after that.

I applied in March 2015 with single status and e-appointment on this June 2016. However, I got married in May 2016.

What should I do now? Any suggestion?

Just call or visit ICA and tell them (and bring along a copy of your Marriage Certificate (if local) or a notarized copy & translation of same if not in English. No big deal. Did you marry a local?

Thanks for your help. I married non-local woman but she just got a Visit Pass which is valid in one year under my sponsor.
I'm wondering that will they request for my spouse documents and need to submit another application form?

Para 12 says 'For married applicants, spouse’s documents must be provided even if spouse is not applying.'
