Watch out

Post by Testcos » Thu, 16 Jun 2016 5:32 pm

Hey guys, watch out for this company.

https://www.expresscar.com.sg

Be sure that when you return ur car, there are no scratches or dents or anything to the car..

They have tightened their checking procedures and managed to repeatedly pick out minute damages to the car body, after which they impose fines beyond the rental fees.

That being that I am a long term customer at that, having rented cars from them on multiple counts. I think we can agree that they do not value long term customer loyalty right?

This is their contact number

Actually it sounds like their customes don't value their cars. Or at least one, anyway.

I'm with the OP on this one, SMS... I've rented cars in SG... they go over them with a microscope, trying to ding you (no pun intended) for existing damage and normal wear and tear.

The second time I rented I took about 50 shots of the exterior and interior of the mini-van... and it was a good thing I did.

Car rental people are as bad as landlords.

Guess I've been lucky cause I've never had a problem (renting occasionally between '94 and 2014). Yet. I'll take your word for it though and be mindful as well. We are scrapping my friends Kia Rio that I've been lucky to use for the last three years end of July or beginning Aug (COE dies 30 Aug). Back to full time Public Transit.

I can believe OP's story but I'd say it's not limited to just the rental car company he mentioned.
I not lawyer/teacher/CPA.
You've been arrested? Law Society of Singapore can provide referrals.
You want an International School job? School website or http://www.ISS.edu
Your rugrat needs a School? Avoid for profit schools
You need Tax advice? Ask a CPA
You ran away without doing NS? Shame on you!

That's probably closer to the fact.
