HOW IS IT HELPFUL? What happens to other applications, or the amount of time they take to process, HAS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH YOUR APPLICATION, OR THE AMOUNT OF TIME IT TAKES TO PROCESS.vinayknr wrote:Hi ,
I am from India and my EP application is in 7th week pending status.
Employer told few applications are even crossing 9 weeks for approval.
Let us post updates we are getting from employer or media so for others it may be helpful
Thanks
Vinay
What difference does it make? The general time could be 3 days and yours could be 3 months. Or, the other way around. It's just stupid.vinayknr wrote:My intention is to know general time frame for applications .
Hi sanjusanju1983 wrote:I sincerely believe most of the guys here are complaining for no reason. Just because something used to get approved earlier within a week or two, doesn't mean will continue forever. Immigration laws are getting tougher everywhere and understandably so. A nation would want to protect its borders from fraudsters. As someone rightly put here that 'it's all because of your fellow countrymen who used all sorts of trickery to get into the system, produced fake information, forged educational documents'. They should do a complete check on the candidate and I fully support MOM on this. Haven't seen anyone crying foul play when they've to wait an year for US/UK/Oz visa, but when it comes to SG, let's play the bashing game!
The only difference is that the United States government discloses processing times for past applicants, by visa category. There is no assurance that an applicant today will experience the same or similar processing time as a past applicant. In fact, in many visa categories it's rather unlikely he/she would.SaiShiv wrote:Example: US - have definite time line for submitting visa application, definite time for results and stamping. Any changes in process are clearly posted and all over news.
